A stopover in the heart of preserved Vezo country, the vast white sandy beach of the village of Beheloka surrounding a turquoise lagoon, is located away from the traditional tourist routes.
The quaintly named Friendly Beaches, @ Freycinet Peninsula, Tasmania - where the sand is white, the water is turquoise, wildlife abounds and you get the whole beach to yourself!! We actually patted a wombat a little bit further around from this part of the beach ... another slice of paradise on this beautiful little island.

Summer is ending here now. The weather is very nice and still hot during the day. Next to this area, there is a beautiful sandy beach. People enjoy late summer beach.
I've driven past this beach many times on my way up the Mendocino Coast. On this particular evening, we pulled over to catch the sunset. It is a lovely little beach at the mouth of the Navarro River and is part of the Navarro River Redwoods State Park. There is a campground there. One of the campsites has my name on it. The thought of listening to the waves crash every night is very appealing to me!

The beach was soar with strong winds and the sand pierced the skin. The waves are raised and attacked by crowds. Mt. Fuji was surrounded by thick clouds, and the sunset light leaked from a small gap. I caught this at a slight moment. The shoes which I wore were useless by sand.

Sunday's walk along the beach, enjoying the sound of the waves and the blue sky ;-) It took a few hours to get there, but it was worth it ;-))
Situate in the heart of Celorio,Llanes.This beach has golden sands ,is very well sheltered from currents.
surrounding area have routes with small caves and The Monastery of San Salvador makes Palomino Beach more interesting giving a touch of mystery to the fabulous panorama .
The wind was intense (Rough beach 1) It was taken when the sun of the same day hid.

The tropical storm that hit Florida, basically closed the ocean, but it did leave us with some big waves!!
Had a nice walk and swim at the beach this morning before many holiday visitors had got up. Every xmas the island, especially the Point Lookout area (at Nth Stradbroke Island, Australia) where I live, gets swamped understandably by mainlanders on xmas and new years holidays ... its OK its still manageable compared to the ocean beaches on the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, sth and nth of Brisbane.
Its pretty idyllic and also laid-back as you can see in this shot.... the water was so refreshing..... and then I did some yoga stretches before heading home for a nice organic blend of coffee and breakfast, mushrooms on toast with avocados today with freshly squeezed cold orange juice, on the front deck.

Sand Dollar Beach is the largest unbroken stretch of sand along the Big Sur coast. It is protected by the high bluffs behind it. The beach is about 150 ft below the top of the bluffs and is reached by a good trail and impressive staircase. A photo merge of four handheld images.
