Recently in my house garden.

The Orange-Tip (male) sat on a cool but sunny morning on the not yet opened pasqueflower, which I planted in my garden in front of a natural stone wall. On the wall blooms at the time the Blue Cushion.

Neulich in meinem Hausgarten.

I don't usually works with textures, but for once I thought I would try it out - because this does look like the perfect motif for a water-colour painting, and the original was... not really presentable anyway (the light was quite troublesome to work with - very bright but not sunny).

This is the great reception hall at Shibamata Taishakuten, a Buddhist temple, set in a traditional Japanese garden. You actually walk round the garden on a covered walkway of wood - you leave your shoes at the entrance and walk in your socks (as a Swede I am quite familiar to the concept of not wearing shoes indoors, but this was a new experience even for me). A very contemplative and beautiful place. The garden was created in 1965, and the reception hall dates to 1929.

Shibamata Taishakuten was founded in 1629 - but the buildings in the area are generally from the early 20th century. The inner shrine of the Taishakudo (Taishaku temple hall) was finished in 1915 and the hall of worship 1929. The temple is centred around the worship of Taishakuten (sometimes called just Taishaku - written 帝釈天 or 帝釈 respectively), the Japanese name for Sakra devanam Indra (that is, the god Indra, known from Hinduism).

Garden in Baroque style at the ruins of the abbaye de Villers. This was a Cistercian abbey, founded in 1146 - but it was abandoned after 1796 and the French revolution. Later on a railway was built partly over the area and this shot is taken from underneath it.

I enjoy photographing the red bridge in the many different lights that filter through the woods at Sarah Duke gardens.

Thank you and i appreciate your visit and comments my friends .

Have a wonderful new week..cheers

This is a winter garden from a month ago.

It doesn't even look like winter, more like your summer in August.

We're upside-down people and parrot in down-under world, so everything is confusing.

Although we had limited time to look we made sure to have a once around the gardens before it closed. Lucky for us most of the crowds had gone home so we mostly had the place to ourselves

The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace is a beautiful place in the heart of Tokyo that breaths with history, while offering a picturesque landscape of well manicured gardens set among beautiful ponds and historical buildings.
