The view from my campsite along BC's beautiful Boya Lake. My favorite camping spot on the Stewart-Cassiar highway. Regrettably only spent one night here. I enjoyed one of the finest sunrises I've ever seen just before heading north for Alaska the next morning. Shots in comments.
The lake is noted for its colour and clarity. The bottom is composed of marl, a mixture of silt and shell fragments. The crystal clear waters and aqua-marine lake colour are a result of the light reflecting from the marl bottom, not glacial waters.
Many thanks for stopping by for a look and for any comments, faves or suggestions!
Yesterday was a glorious autumn day in Nova Scotia! This is the lake where I swim in the summer and my "go to" place for sunsets since it is only about a 10 minute drive
I shot this today. It is the time to take leaf pictures. I like light HDR, and reflections. Have a great weekend!

Quiet and colorful Lake Watauga. Located in Carter county Tennessee, close to the Appalachian Trail in the Cherokee National Forest. Right off highway 321 between Butler and Hampton Tennessee. Liked how the clouds showed up so well along with the colorful trees in the reflection off the lake.
Camping backcountry at Clear Lake is a real delight. It pleases you with magnificent views of the lake. It is a great spot to put in your canoe, go for a paddle, and to get that shot. Enjoy it!
