After photographing New York and some of the most famous cities in the world by night, I never thought I could get a decent shot of the closest one to my home, Milano. But, thank to the office of a friend I had the opportunity to steal this photo during a foggy night around the Xmas days with the lights of the city which were contributing in creating a festal athmosphere. After that, a little post production to improve the colors temperature and that's it, my little different picture of the "otherwise gray" City with its cathedral, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, The skyscrapers on the far side, the Sforzesco Castle on the left. Enjoy it!

the first try of a long exposure at night with a vintage prime lens. the lens isn´t as sharp as it could and should be. the focussing is quite difficult with it. but the colours were great however.

Kremlin Embankment at night.
Even in the XII-XIV century under the Kremlin walls in a shallow part of the Moscow River was a ford. About ford crossed two roads, one of which runs along the river, it turned into the modern Kremlin embankment.
Modern view with granite trim sloping of a retaining wall embankment acquired in 1936.

Thanks for your views and comments my friends!
Have a beautiful Sunday! Cheers
This was my first try at star photography. I was at a really dark location with my sister. We could hear dogs barking and many strange noises coming from bushes. Darkness plays tricks with your mind. It was also very windy and i was praying the tripod doesn't fall to the ground with the camera on it. When i thought things couldn't get any worse, when we got there my sister stayed in the car, refusing to get out and screaming at me ''Are you done?'', ''When are you going to finish?''. So i was all alone in the dark staring at the sky while a crazy psychopath was yelling. Other than that, it was a good night...
On our way to Vila Nova de Gaia, on the Dom Luís I bridge. It was our last night, just me, my friends and a bottle of vinho do porto.
One of my shots I have taken yesterday during the night photography workshop. Love the color trail of the party boat. It's a bulb shot with 55 seconds :)

The Siegestor in Munich at night.
The Siegestor (English: Victory Gate) in Munich is a three-arched triumphal arch crowned with a statue of Bavaria with a lion-quadriga.
It is located between the Ludwig Maximilian University and the Ohmstraße, where the Ludwigstraße (south) ends and the Leopoldstraße (north) begins. It thus sits at the boundary between the two Munich districts of Maxvorstadt and Schwabing.
Night draws in over the Palace of Culture and Science and cental Warsaw.
Original named "the Palace of Culture and Science in the name of Joseph Stalin”. Built in Warsaw between 1952 and 1955, it was a "gift of the Soviet people to the Polish nation", offered by Joseph Stalin himself. The architect was Lew Rudniew. The Palace is the highest building in Poland, standing at 778 ft tall (42 floors) and has over 3,000 rooms, including offices, institution headquarters, two private universities and the Polish Academy of Sciences. Moreover, the Palace has a post office, cinema, swimming pool, museums, libraries and theaters. The palace is one of the largest conference facilities in Warsaw, comfortably accommodating more than 4,500 participants at a time, at dozens of meetings and training conferences annually.

Eine weitere Nachtaufnahme aus London. Es hatte ein wenig gedauert bis einer der Touristenbusse genau an dieser Stelle gehalten hat, aber das Warten hat sich gelohnt.
